The RUOHAN team's collaboration with B1OCK concept store for their recent pop-up was a clear demonstration of their ability to create a cohesive environment around their designs.
For this project, they worked with Studio Profile, whose approach to spatial design focused on subtle integration with the surroundings. The Glass House, located in the OoEli complex, served as the venue—a minimalist structure that complemented the collection without overshadowing it.
Studio Profile’s design choices were deliberate, maintaining the existing gravel floor and incorporating granite volumes that aligned with the natural setting. This created a space that was both functional and reflective of its environment. The temporary store wasn't just a backdrop but an integral part of the overall experience, encouraging visitors to engage with the collection in a context that emphasized simplicity and clarity.
The design underscored a quiet dialogue between the built space and the natural landscape, offering a momentary reflection on how fashion can be presented within its broader context. This approach challenged conventional retail experiences, offering a more grounded and thoughtful interaction with the space and the products within it.
