South Korean designer Kwangho Lee designed a collection called ‘New Armor’ made of bronze.

The collection includes versions of a chair and stool that combine glossy, and matte. More than just furniture, these chairs are works of art that combine geometric, angular, arched and abstract lines. The pieces are mainly bronze. This metal was seen in the designer's copper 'skin' series. True to his ancient inspiration, bronze was chosen as it was the very first alloy invented by humans. His pieces resemble relics from the past that have been restored.

The chair represents the most sacred meeting of form and function. From offices to dining tables, lounging to working, chairs are ubiquitous pieces of design. In the words of the late David Bowie “Why bother choosing a certain chair? Because that chair says something about you.”
