Discovering new works of London-based design studio Zak Group is always inspiring.
Presented below are two publications — The Human Snapshot and Flood of Rights. The Human Snapshot, is the outcome of an international conference in Arles, France, exploring humanism and universalism in contemporary art and organised by the LUMA Foundation and CCS Bard.
The second one refers to the second conference and explores the technological transformation of human rights and organised in collaboration with CCS Bard. “In both publications we deployed both unconventional visual strategies and classical typesetting to produce an object that expands the subjective image-driven critiques, while maintaining the tradition of an unassuming, clothbound library book,” explained the team of Zak Group.
