Norm Architects , the Copenhagen-based design practice, constantly delivers us complex breathtaking works in the fields of architecture, interior and design.
As an example of the studio’s approach to create is the Gjøvik house. The project located an hour way north of Oslo, on a majestic hill side facing the Norwegian woods. Formed from overlapping cubes in various sizes united with the same material, the house serves as an intimate and dynamic family home.
It’s cluster style form has been naturally blended with the surrounding and is a result of thorough analysis of the climate, which led the architect to design cosy, peaceful space to live.“Beautifully blending in with its harsh yet peaceful surroundings – with its humble structure and cosy cubes –, the house showcases the epitome of hygge,” the architects sum up.
