With no doubts we are big fans of London-based maker Marcin Rusak and his immersive output. Hence we give an insight into the newest of his, exhibited at Jerwood Space.
The showcase titled Nature Of Things which was on a display since 28.06 to 27.08.2017 at Jerwood Space, Jerwood Visual Arts, London, included Marcin’s pieces of arts along the projects of Sam Bakewell, Juli Bolaños-Durman, Jessica Harrison and Laura Younson Coll.
The exhibition could be described as a tribute to craftsmanship emphasizing „significance of making practices and processes within contemporary visual arts”. As we can read from the introduction to the exhibition: „Marcin Rusak's installation of perishable abstract objects reference domestic items and architectural forms at different stages of decay. Made from organic composites, such as waste flowers, shellac, beeswax and resin, the objects diffuse a sugary aroma.”
