The Office of TNT, a design studio celebrated for its playful, conceptual designs, has transformed the ordinary into the extraordinary with their latest creation, TOB—a coffee table inspired by an unexpected muse: chocolate tablet.

For the designers, chocolate is not just a treat but a constant companion, leaving its mark across their living space, from coffee tables to bedside stands, and even on the occasional bedsheet.

One day, as they stared at the dark smudges left by chocolate on their coffee table, they decided to turn this small inconvenience into a source of inspiration. Instead of merely solving the problem, they chose to embrace it, playing with the iconic triangular shape of Toblerone—one of the most recognizable chocolates in the world. The result is a table that blends whimsy with functionality, featuring two rows of triangular legs that echo the form of its chocolatey muse.

In their search for materials, they discovered Sofalca, a company that masters the art of transforming cork. Through a natural process, Sofalca "cooks" cork pellets, causing them to expand and bond with their own resin. The outcome is a rich, dark material that bears an uncanny resemblance to chocolate itself—perfect for a project born out of a love for this sweet indulgence.
