In a very unique location in central Italy, the linoleum collection was styled by EBO (En Bande Organisée) to highlight a new color line of Tarkett Lino that focused on creating very natural and soft earth tones.
In order to reinterpret the new collection developed by Tarkett, the Paris-based design studio decided to focus on the origins of the new line. This is why the photoshoot was carried out in Narni, an ancient hill town in central Italy, where linoleum has been produced since 1898.
"The factory in Narni is incredible; it truly helps you to understand what linoleum is about: the nobility of this material, the traditional craftsmanship that brings it to life… when you cut through it you see that it is the same material, the same color, all the way through. That’s why in our set pieces we wanted to show it in combination with stone and brick and alongside objects cast in iron, in ceramic, in wood - materials with the same spirit of authenticity and craft," says Gwenaëlle Girard, a designer and the co-founder of En Bande Organisée.
Additionally, En Bande Organisée developed a creative installation at Atelier Tarkett in Paris, revealing the wonderful diversity of Tarkett Lino, which decorates the interior and the furnishings. A dialogue is created between the materials of linoleum, wood, stone, and ceramic, which emphasizes the beauty of the noble, raw, and refined materials. Through a palette of subtle, timeless colors and natural harmonies, the installation invites visitors to Tarkett's showroom to discover its products in a new way. It will be showcased from March 8th to July 29th, 2022 at the Tarkett Atelier, 43 rue de Saintonge, Paris 3rd.
The Tarkett Lino collection provides a very subtle and elegant color range that has a restrained aesthetic. Ideal for those who value quality workmanship and Tarkett's environmental commitment.
For a conscious brand such as Tarkett, sustainability is not only the foundation but already the core philosophy. The Tarkett Lino collection is produced in a green factory using natural, renewable, and recycled materials, and can be 100% recycled, even after use, through Tarkett's Restart® programme. Therefore, throughout its entire lifecycle, Tarkett Lino 2.5mm has the smallest environmental footprint in its category.
A new range of over 100 colors is available, ranging from the natural color of raw linoleum (100% Linen) to on-trend shades like terracotta and pink. Featuring five modern, subtle patterns, its new extra matt aspect provides a more natural look and feel. With its perfect color combinations, Tarkett's linoleum can be applied to walls - LinoWall collection - and even to furniture, realizing the expressive potential of a material appreciated by architects for its supple, second-skin feel, similar to vegetal leather.
A wide variety of thicknesses and robustness is available, as well as special attributes such as non-slip surfaces, conductive or dissipative properties, sound dampening properties, etc.
The Tarkett Lino collection offers countless practical applications.
