The Saint Laurent, the Parisian maison synonymous with audacity and elegance, unveiled its largest flagship at 123 avenue des Champs-Élysées.

Beneath the careful eye of Creative Director Anthony Vaccarello, this newly minted space does more than sell luxury—it tells a story. Housed within a meticulously restored Haussmannian building, the boutique strikes a balance between the storied legacy of Yves Saint Laurent and Vaccarello’s forward-looking vision. Its facade, a nod to the past, gives way to interiors that exude both restraint and opulence, orchestrating a compelling narrative of light, texture, and architectural precision.

The journey begins in a dramatic double-height foyer, where a custom light installation by Welsh conceptual artist Cerith Wyn Evans takes center stage. Suspended in the air, the piece—a cascade of abstract neon—burns with an almost celestial energy. “Yves once dreamed of seeing his name in fiery letters on the Champs-Élysées,” Vaccarello reflects. Here, that dream materializes with reverence and edge, anchoring the boutique’s identity in Parisian modernity.

Moving through the space, the interiors unveil a choreography of intimate salons and grand rooms. Each one is a tribute to the maison’s heritage while offering a glimpse into its evolution. This balance of tradition and innovation extends to every detail—from the materials selected to the artwork adorning the walls.

The boutique invites visitors to wander. Black-lacquered staircases draw guests upward, connecting the tactile richness of marble-clad galleries with moments of calm, like a private garden hidden within the store’s design. The deliberate pacing mirrors the act of discovery, each corner offering a new perspective on Saint Laurent’s aesthetic universe.

On display: an impeccably curated selection of women’s and men’s ready-to-wear pieces, fine jewelry, accessories, and seasonal collections. Sculptural furnishings inspired by Donald Judd’s minimalist ethos punctuate the rooms, creating harmony between form and function. A subtle interplay of luminous creams and blues highlights the boutique’s refined yet daring mise-en-scène.

As the city lights shimmer on the Champs-Élysées, Saint Laurent’s glowing new home reminds us why it remains at the heart of fashion’s evolving narrative.
