London design studio Industrial Facility has launched the ‘Plex’ modular lounge seating collection for Herman Miller.
The series is made up of six elements which can be combined to create everything from armchairs and sofas to ottomans and benches.
Industrial Facility utilised Herman Miller’s extensive knowledge of ergonomics, anthropometrics and comfort, to create a system which would support home, office, education and healthcare establishments. Each element can be used alone or combined in a myriad of ways to create settings ranging from a haven for quiet contemplation; a small social grouping; or a team space. It is equally effective in academic surroundings like student unions, libraries, and workshops.
