The main vision that APOLLO Architects wanted to incorporate in the project was the linkage of the traditional process and express them in works for the present era.

The building is a very simple structure with a symmetrical floor plan. The architects opted for austerity and implemented a very consistent vision to create a building with an almost sacral dimension. The main gallery room is devoid of windows, while natural light filters in through a narrow skylight at the top of the pitched roof which, thanks to an additional expansion joint from the main walls of the building, gives it lightness and seems to levitate above visitors.

The use of Kanagaso stone, which is widely known in the area, is an additional strength of the project. This gives the gallery a very coherent and local character. Mutan means a silent beginning, creation free from the self - and this is exactly the atmosphere that resonates in the minimalist interior.
