Maison M is a minimal residence located in Belgium, designed in collaboration between the architect Philippe Vander Maren and the artist Richard Venlet.

Their collaboration often finds them renovating homes in which interventions implemented would contrast against what existed. As for Maison M, the objective was to create something new entirely with the use of many materials. Situated on a sloped landscape, the home places a glass box above a brick volume which serves as a pedestal of sorts to showcase the architecture above. Concrete was used as the foundation, which was left exposed throughout the interior. The brick and concrete purposefully clash, creating a linear bound between the two materials.
