Sitting on the site of the National Iron-ore Mining Museum in Luxembourg, Joypark by 2001 is not only an extreme-sports fun park.
It is a public space first, that can be used for various functions and change its purpose over the years.
The project is designed to integrate urban elements to be used by BMX, skateboards or rollerblades, but also to enable public events like concerts or open-air cinema. The concrete structure is dimensioned to accommodate large machinery for open-air exhibitions in the framework of the Museum.
