House in Kamikeindai is a minimalist residence located in Tokyo, Japan, designed by Tsubame Architects.
This Japanese house is built in a quiet residential area which is rich in greenery, and features beautiful landscaping from the neighboring homes. The building is situated on a corner lot, with mainly traditional styled homes surrounding the structure. The architects wanted to create a framework within the building that could be openly expressed and visible. As a result, the material used for the wooden beams were also used for the bench on the balcony and hand rails for the entrance.
