Besides working as a commercial photographer, Josh enjoys to explore his deepest subjective motivations and experiences, what often results in personal projects, such as the one presented here — Personal Zine. It is a small press print project, where Josh collaborated with stylist Julian Ganio, in order to create edition of portraits intertwined with images of objects.
As Josh is originally from Michigan, he finds themes such as voyeurism, isolation, nature and human condition particularly attractive to investigate. No wonder, the series of images Personal Zine seems slightly unearthly and may evokes feelings of alienation. It stands as a perfect visual portrait of Josh’s interests.
