Francesc Rifé established his namesake interior design office in Barcelona in 1994. In his practice he considers material honesty, spatial order and geometric proportion as a principal rules of creation.
The latest cooperation of Francesc Rifé with the chef Ricard Camarena resulted in a spectacular transformation of an industrial space of the former Bombas Gens factory in Valencia. Francesc Rifé converted and rediscovered the place into a noble centre of art.
The architect divided the restaurant into two areas: the dinning room with a perspective to one of the walls of the factory, and the bar housed under one of the five refurbished sheds. „The design of the restaurant is in equilibrium with the gastronomic offer of Ricard Camarena: a pure kitchen, which visually seems bit complicated but transmitting an infinite number of sensations. A space easy to read that it hides many surprises,” Francesc Rifé describes.
