Anthroposophische Gesellschaft und Freie Hochschule für Geisteswissenschaft is a full original title of the book edited by Johannes Kühl and Johannes Greiner. It states of the relationship between the society and each entity from disparate viewpoints and seeks to define their relation.
Japanese designer, Yuta Takahashi undertook the task to put this intellectual content into a fine book. He wanted to create the book, which is not only as an object of utility but also with the outlook of design item itself.
The book which would become an exquisite element of inner space. A visual key to the whole content is visible from the first sight, as it’s placed on the cover. Round shapes on a white background are the visual elements that unite the whole project. Both typography and graphic components are positioned repetitively, thus directing the attention of the viewer on the content and not on the form. A delicate touch and the attention to the detail can be noticed on each page. With its simple elegance and minimal use of the means of expression, the project can be described as a role model of the modern book design.
