He believes, that design is an act which bears existing with a new sense of values. The latest project, titled Mino, implemented by the team of Tsubasa Iwahashi Architecture is a great example of the recognized values.
Mino is a private residence, located in Osaka, Japan. It is a family house, governed by the rule of essential over excessive. The whole house aims for simplicity — whether we perceive the bulding from the outside, or step inside. The grey façade doesn't impose itself on the neighborhood, it rather creates a harmony. The interior welcomes its residents with the warmth of light-toned wood and open floor plan. A classic wooden staircase lead up to the second floor of the home, where additional rooms were place, featuring beautiful large floor-to-ceiling windows.
