Stockholm-based designStudio E.O introduced a new set of objects titled Indefinite Vases. The project explores concepts of balance and tension through the series of vases that merge geometric and organic shapes.
Indefinite Vases combine remarkable outlook with functional features – resembling sculptures forms can be used in a traditional way.
The designers were working with transparent or blurred glass and stone materials. The diversity of forms, materials, and colors allow arranging the elements in many different ways.
As the designers say: “Indefinite Vases are sculptures or containers. Functional or decorative. The contrast between the cut stone and the form of the hand blown glass emphasizes the relation between space and object, an interplay between a fragile material and its solid counterpart.”
The project was developed in collaboration with galerie kreo and all the vases are available upon request.
