Scott Rasmusson Källander is an architectural and brand-building company, that looks beyond traditional marketing and architecture. The studio is based in between two cities, Tokyo and Stockholm.
With a multi-disciplinary approach, the team of Scott Rasmusson Källander implements projects, that focus on the interplay between individuals and their surroundings. Project Brf Ferdinand is not an exception. Located in Asupudden, Stockholm, Brf Ferdinand is a group of three-row houses, merging both — density and compactness, providing a living space for fifteen residential units.
All the houses look the same — finished in simple light gray plaster facades with a smooth polished base, wooden roofs, large windows and doors in light pine. This inconspicuous appearance is broken by remarkable circular window, set in the gables facing the street. Although, the three buildings seem to be completely identical, they have small variations, that adapt them to different site conditions. Such as extra floor in some of the residential units.
