Marco Fava is based in Piancenza, Italy. Besides working as an architect, Marco became passionate about landscape and architecture photography.
Presented photo series, titled Marginal Passages, is Marco’s latest ongoing project, exploring modifications inside of familiar and recurring routes. It offers an approach to contemplate the aspects of movability, accompanied by sensations of unstable condition, temporary passage, fast or just inevitable change.
"Like in a defined circuit, coming back many times in the same places, we can understand these movements, what wasn’t there yesterday but is today, and probably, tomorrow will have disappeared,” said Marco. With a particular focus on suburban areas and human environment interactions, most of the images were taken in rural areas or on river banks, focusing attention on elements, that remind the state of constant movement.
