Leung Yat Ting, going under the name of Leungmo, is a freelance photographer and art director in Hong Kong, China. Since graduating from School of Creative Media in City University of Hong Kong, she expresses her thoughts and sensitively observes her surroundings by the opportunities given by photography.
In the project titled Here, There, Everywhere, Leungmo introduces a fresh approach to the ordinary things we experience in everyday life. Discovering coincidences during the way, the artist visually interprets these accidental happenings into her own unique language of metaphors.
Inspired by bold hues and various shapes, she explores different perspectives of how we perceive things. “I enjoy observing and discovering coincidently or unordinary settings on the street. I capture every little things that draws my attention by instinct and I am fascinated by colors and shapes. I tried to look at the world with different perspectives, up and down. It is like throwing away our traditional conceptions and look at the world with children's eyes. Everything is brand new and interesting for a child,” she sensibly describes her way of thinking about the use of the photographic medium.
