Young London-based jewellery label Kinsa Thing brings together design, skilled craftsmanship, sophisticated materials and a commitment to using only environmentally friendly ecogold.
Each piece is crafted by hand from gold in Kinsa Thing studio, to create precious and enduring objects. Kinsa Thing is contemporary jewellery practice of Elvira Grob. She was trained in Switzerland to the highest standards under a four year apprenticeship in goldsmithing, followed by studies in current design practices.
After working several years as a designer Elvira has returned to goldsmithing in order to challenge current jewellery design, and bring innovative aesthetics and skilled craftsmanship back to the discipline.
The gold used in the debut Alvabeta series are specially processed in the studio to create a strong and exible metal that will retain its shape. While maintaining the design, the earring threads are crafted to be thinner making them easier to wear.
Every piece in the collection is hallmarked in London to guarantee its gold content.
