Barcelona-based design studio Francesc Rifé Studio refurbished an apartment located in the Saint Germain district in Paris.
The team of Francesc Rife Studio had to take into account apartment’s small dimensions, what challenged the designers to prove that tiny space can be transformed into a lovely home. Proving their skills, the designers created sleek and modern space, retaining the flat’s original features, including an irregular sloping attic roof and timber columns.
The living space has undergone the biggest transformation. A more private area separated the bedroom; meanwhile, a concealed kitchen along with a washing machine, a dryer, and a wardrobe was placed there. The central space was designed on two levels; the lower one features a small study area, dining and reading areas. The upper level, only two steps above features a spacious custom-designed built-in seating area finished in natural wood.
