A long-term, consistent and fruitful career of Anthony, caused that he has been the subject of solo institutional exhibitions at the Contemporary Art Museum St. Louis, Missouri (2012) and Midway Contemporary Art, Minneapolis (2008). Besides, he took part in miscellaneous prominent group shows including recent Thinking Tantra, Drawing Room, London (2016); The Sun Placed in the Abyss and Columbus Museum of Art, Ohio (2016); Space and Matter.
Exploiting camera, darkroom techniques, bronze casting, cut steel, natural pigment, and gypsum cement, Anthony explores the potential of shape and light, and the correlation between them. He aims to capture the way light shapes the surface of the object and how it influences on its final outcome. Through deliberate and time-consuming process of creating rigorously structured compositions and rich sculptural relief on the canvas, the artist creates superficial immateriality of its surface. Beside the richness of his artistic skills and deep theoretical approach, pieces of Anthony are simply genuine feast for the eyes.
